Here you’ll find posts with descriptions of cafes, interviews with coffee people from Japan, and area guides. Mostly centered in the Tokyo area, these writings were my passion project during the booming specialty coffee scene of Tokyo around 2015. I’m sure much of the information is out of date now, and that many of the shops have changed or closed.
It was an exciting time to be a coffee lover, especially when talking baristas and cafe owners about their hopes and dreams as well as their predictions for the coffee world.
